IN A WORLD GONE MAD, MANKIND MUST UTILIZE THE POWER OF LOVE, AND CRUSH COMMUNISM WHENEVER POSSIBLE!

OMG Zombies!
...Is anyone still alive?
Wait, what just happened?

Three blocks away Raven King was preoccupied with saving her own life. Straddling a black, 950 Harley Davidson motorcycle her leathers and bike where covered in blood and bits of bone and brain. She drove at a steady pace, aiming with a sawed off 12 gauge shotgun which was perfect for causing zombie head’s to explode. More than once she found herself densely surrounded by the undead hordes. But the V-Twin engine of her bike roared to life, allowing a cramped but bite free escape threw the masses. She could easily speed threw the crowds of zombies unscathed but watching their brains explode as she fired each shot was far too enjoyable to pass up. Then she heard the explosion. It sounded like a small grenade going off. She put away her shotgun and sped for the origin of the sound.

Riding up o teh scene she saw the smoldering remains of a police station, several chared and partialy squirming zombies and a few people who looked like they'd seen better days. There was an anbulance that looked like it might still run. The engine of her bike roared as she sped threw the burning rubble. She took her shotgun and dispatched several of teh confused and dismembered zombies. she stopped her bike by the ambulance and yelled "IS ANYONE STILL ALIVE?" She continued to shoot zombies from her vantage by the ambulance. "SOMEONE FUCKING ANSWER ME DAMNIT!" if there was no answer within the next few seconds she was going to take her trusty chainsaw and start lopping off heads of the surounding people.

Hearing the roar of the motorcycle and the godly sound of another human voice, Robert tried to say, "Over here! There are still human beings here and we would very much appreciate your help, ma'am, and we're also somewhat competent so it would be a wise investment!" What came out was "WAAAGH! YAAAAGGGH AUUUGH BWOOOAOAOAOA YEEAARGHH BALDIGARGHAHA!"

Steven raised his head at the sound of another person's voice. He looked at the window at the chainsaw toating leather clad female. "I'M ALIVE! Please don't kill me!!!"

"Will that ambulnce start?" Raven asked over the fiering sounds of her shotgun. She kept disptching zombies. More and more where coming towards them.

Steven tried the key and after a few pumps of the gas pedal he was relieved to find that it did in fact still start.

"EVERYONE IN THE FUCKING AMBULANCE!" Raven ordered. She had no worries with giving these stumbeling morons orders. If they wanted to live they'd listen to her. If not she was gonna leave their asses to be zombie chow. She fired off a few more zombie heads before reloading

Catch vaulted out of the dumpster, bolting for the ambulance while swerving to avoid the rapidly growing throng of zombies stumbling about. He scrambled inside, panting.

Steven looked around nervously, his fingers strumming the sterring wheel. "Come on. Come on. Come on...."

Brian came down the steps of the police station hurridly, holding his bat high. He started running towards the ambulance for lack of anything else to do.

Raven looked to the man in the van as she dispatched a few more zombies "Where is the least populated area?" She yelled. She figured if he was driving teh ambulance then he must know the quickest routes threw the town.

Robert scrambled into the ambulance, rubbing his face gingerly. "I'm in, I'm in!"

Brian jumped into the ambulance "LET'S GO! LET'S GO!" He slammed the door "Let's get going! TO THE PARK!"

"Are...are you getting in?" Steven asked Raven nervously. She had a bike, but would she be getting in or following? He didn't want to leave her behind that's for sure.

"Just go!" Raven yelled "Ill clear the path." She kocked her shotgun and revved the engine. She headed out infront of the ambulance shooting zombies in the head watching their brins explode.

Steven floored it and sped after her. He reached over and flicked on the lights just for the hell of it.

Brian stuck his head and arm out the window, swinging his bat at passing zombies and knocking they're heads off. He closed his eyes as the blood splattered over his face, taking a random swing and knocking a parking meter flying. It spun threw the air before exploding like a firework on a zombies head, sending shards of coins flying threw the air.

Raven kept one eye on her rear view mirror and the other on the zombies. As loing as the ambulance was behind her they'd be ok for now. She was heading towards teh park. The last time she'd seen it she'd worn convict ornge but she figured she could find it again.

Brian watched as the flying coins pelted into the zombie's thin skins like bullets, downing them all around as they drove on. He swung more and more viscously, praying that he was hitting something cause he couldn't see.

Catch curled up in the corner of the ambulance, flinching at the more violent bumps and noises from outside, accompanied by the occasional spattering of decaying matter across the windows.

Steven glanced over at Brian and his jaw dropped. "Will you get back in here?!?!!? We're trying to stay alive and you're acting like a dog going for a car ride!"

"I'M KILLING THEM...aren't I?" he asked, going back into the ambulance and sitting down. He tried to wipe his glasses off on his shirt but that only managed to smear more red gunk onto it "I'll never see again at this rate..."

Raven saw that they where entering the park. She swerved next to the Ambulance "TURN THAT DAMN SIREN OFF YOU IDEOT!" She shouted at Steven as they stopped "You wanna tell them we're here?" She parked her bike and got off. She surveyed the area. Less humans in the park at night meant less zombies. If they stayed quiet they had a good ten minuets to regroup and make introductions. She also wanted to inventory the weapons. They may have to break into a pawn shop for more.

Steven switched off the siren, cowering slightly from her shouting order. He looked at Brian cautiously. "There should be hand wipes int he glove box you can clean them with alot easier."

Brian scrambled at the glove box, taking out the wipes and cleaning his glasses quickly. He looked down at himself and threw up out the window, coming back inside and cleaning his face "I wish I couldn't see again..."

"I'm glad I have a cold or I think I might be puking. I imagine you smell horrendous." Steven replied, trying not to look at him.

"Yeah, and you smell like a bed of roses," Robert shot back, annoyed. He'd found a seat and was gripping the handles with a death grip, determined on staying put.

"I bet I smell better than you. My stink is all natural thank you very much. There's no Zombie juice on me." Steven defended himself with a glare back at Robert. He put the emergency brake on and sat back

"Both of you shut up or I'll use you as a towel" brian said, trying to scrape some of the goop off himself and onto the floor of the ambulance. He grabbed the brake and turned it off quickly "Now, drive..."

As the ambulance picked up speed again through the park, it was somewhat difficult to tell of there surroundings. It was dark and the light from the vehicle's headlights almost seemed to reflect off of the trees and bushes. About 20 feet in front of them, a dog ran out from behind a patch of shrubs. However, it didn't stop when the headlights were shining on it. The dog pulled a human out from where it came from a leash around it's neck. Her eyes widened as she saw the approaching headlights.

"NOW WE STOP! NOW WE STOP!" Brian said, pulling on the hand brake hard. The ambulance skidded for a little while, wheels screeching under protest. It kept getting closer to the girl infront, sparks flying from the tyres. They finnaly jerked to a stop, Brian's bonce bouncing off the dashboard. He looked up to see the grill only half a foot away from the girl.

"What the hell?" Raven groweled as the ambulnce left her side "Fuckers are gonna get themselvfes killed." She sped after it and nearly ran into the back as it stopped. she swerved around and nearly hit the dog on the other side. She did a front wheely in the dirt as she slammed on the breaks. Seeing the girl she pulled her shotgun. She nearly pulled the trigger but noted the shock on the girls face and lack of decaying bodyparts.

Amy fell back from shock of the Ambulance almost hitting her. She used her feet to shuffle herself back a bit. Her dog stopped and went to her side. "Don't shoot me!" she yelled at the woman on the motorcycle. Shaking a bit, she stood.

Raven holstered her shotgun. She looked at the guys in teh van then to the surrouning area. It seemed zombie free for the moment. "You guys can get out. We're safe for now."

Catch crawled out of the ambulance, tumbled out the door and lay on his back sprawled on the ground. His limbs were very visibly shaking. "So...so glad that's over...", he mumbled.

Brian poured himself out of the ambulance, the kamukazi ambulance stop probably lost him a few brain cells along with gaining a concussion. "'S okay" he mumbled "I lost 'em, they're not all that." he said happily before standing up.

"What the hell, man!?" Steven demanded of Brian. They hadn't hit the girl, but if he didn't release the brake in the first place they never would have nearly slammed into her in the first place

"Thanks, but, uh, I think I better stay and, um, guard the ambulance," Robert said, crouching down in the back.

Raven rolled her eyes and reached in threw teh ambulnce window. Searching for a second the found something that felt human and pulled it out. It was a disembodied limb, not what she was searchinng for. Her second try provef fruitful as she yanked the cowerdly Steven from the van. "Now that we're all here." She said "Who are you dumb fucks?"

"Meep." Steven replied as she yanked him from the vehicle. "I'm Dr. Steven Entwhistle..."

Brian burst out laughing "I'm Brain Dead." He shook his head gently "Brian Deed..." He rested the bat against the ambulance "I invent things."

"What's so funny???" Steven asked him, figuring it had to do with his name.

"Hmmm?" Brian said, looking sideways at Steven "Oh, I've got a swelling on my frontal lobe that is making me delerious... If I pass out I could die...."

"Have you consulted a doctor about it?" Steven asked him, a concerned look on his face. He may have left the zombie infested hospital behind, but he'd be damned if he let fellow non-infected human die if he could offer any kind of help.

"Just dont let me fall asleep" Brian said, staggering gently "Hey... pretty lights" he mumbled, staring at mid air.

Alex remained silent with her loyal dog at her side. Her heart felt like it was going to burst out of her chest from the adrenalin surging within her. "Watch where the hell you are going!"

"Sorry kid." Raven said "Tell me you know what the hell is going on?" She hoped against hope that this kid wasn't clueless to the situation

"Umm...well I was being chased by this really ugly guy. He was soaked in blood and couldn't speak. I got kinda scared and ran away...then almost got pelted by an ambulance." Amy explained, moving her feet from side to side. She has roller blades on and did this rather smoothly.

"No one knows what's actually going on." Catch said, still lying down, "Other than that we're being chased by a large amount of very very hungry hordes of the undead...not much time to figure out anything."

Alex looked at Catch oddly, "Undead? Um...are you on crack?"

"Well, what would you call them?!" Robert said, peeping out from the ambulance.

"Zombies." Raven said. She began reloading her shotgun. "And they are everywhere. probably surrounding us now. We need to know what kind of weapons we have."

"Zombies? He was just a perverted, bloody bum." Alex said in disbelief, "And I don't have any weapons. As you can see.." She looked down at herself, "I wasn't planning on Zombie hunting." She was wearing a thin yellow tank top and baggy black pajama pants. Her hair was orange and somewhat messy.

"Yeah, I've got nothing." Catch sighed, "That police station was practically useless, nevermind a disaster...though I don't expect things'll be getting much better."

Robert looked down to find his hammer still glued to his hand! He gaped in amazement. What a miracle this was! He held it up like a trophy. "I have a hammer!" He said proudly.

"Umm...what's up with that guy?" Amy said, pointing to Brian.

Raven grabbed her duffel "I've got a clock 9, a 12 guage shotgun, a... that's for later, a chainsaw and Oh." She pulled out two swords "Forgot about those..." She looked at the weapins they had. All of which comprised of hers and one hammer. "We need to go to a pawn shop."

"Im OK!" Brian said, stumbling around for a second "I gotta bit of a concussion"

"What happened?" Alex asked, skating over by him, bringing her dog along aswell. She took another look at Raven, "Ok...let's say that there are zombies. I don't really have money to buy a gun....I'm in college."

"Steal stuff" Brian said happily "And I banged my had REAL bad when I stopped us.."

"Oh...well I'm glad you did." Alex told him, petting her dog on the head.

"Everyone in the city is ether eaten or zombiefied." Raven said "We break into a pawn shop and load the back of that ambulance with as much shit as we can. Then we'll need food."

"Hm...guess it's a good excuse to get out of exams." Alex joked, still in disbelieve of these new people.

"You should never skip exams!" Brian said indignantly, glaring at a tree some meters to Alex's left "They're important for your life after school... Then again, so is running right now."

"Umm....yea well if zombies are running a muck, I think the whole day might be canceled." Alex replied in a joking tone as she sipped some of her cappuccino.

"We've got whatever's in the ambulance already. I'm sure we can use some of the tanks of gases as bombs, if we do it right and they don't explode on us...." Steven offered quietly, looking at Raven curiously. Where was it she just pulled those swords from??

Brian glared at Steven, not as if he was angry but as if he was trying to think hard. "WAIT!" he suddenly yelled, pulling a screwdriver from god knows where "I GOT AN IDEA!" With that he dashed into the back of the ambulance.

Alex jumped from Brian's sudden outburst. She scratched her dog behind his ear while she watched Brian run to the vehicle. "Ok then..."

Steven ran after him. "Be careful in there!! We may need some of those supplies you know!"

Alex giggled a bit at this spectacle, "Men..." she smirked.

Brian laughed madly from the back of the ambulance, stopping only to remember what he was doing. After a few moments he stopped "Ha... DONE IT!"

"Yeah blowing up the ambulance is a good idea. Then we have flaming zombies." Raven said "I can only carry one other personh on my bike and that's without my gear. and I'm not loosing my gear." She saw Brian scamper to the back of the ambulance. "Get the brain damaged one away from the only mode of transportation you hve."

"IM NOT BRAIN DAMAGED!" Brian yelled, poping his head round the corner. He hopped down from the back of the ambulance with two oxygen tanks strapped to his back with the nozzle ends abapted "And Im not blowing us up."

"Well it looks like your about to." Raven said "Sereiously, what if we need one of those? And fire won't kill these things, just make them more dangerous. Between normal zombies and flaming ones, I'll pick the normal ones."

"How can a zombie move if their flesh is burnt to a crisp?" Alex asked to no one in particular.

Steven looked at her, stepping out of the ambulance to do so. "Simple, they don't feel any pain so the burnt skin wouldn't stop them from moving their muscles and just breaking through it..."

"And when the flesh is completely broken and charred off....what the hell can a skeleton do? Gnaw at you?" Alex argued back.

"It can break the skin and make you one'a them, that's what!" Robert yelled at her, annoyed at the bickering. "IIII seen it!"

Raven remained quiet having nothing to argue. It made sense that Doctor Boy knew what he was talking about.

"IT'S NOT A BOMB!" Brian yelled, pointing a nozzle end at a tree. There was a "fwip" sound then a thud as a scalple embedded itself in the wood.

"Then what is it?" Alex asked.

"it fires pointy thingies" Brian said happily, another scalpel thudding into the tree "It's only on one shot right now but it can be like a machine gun."

"You some genius inventor?" Alex asked, "Or just stupidly lucky?"

"I'm smart" Brian said happily, standing up straight and trying to look important "I can make stuff..."

"You seem like a fruitcake to me." Alex replied, skating over to him, "Nice uhh...pointy-gun-thing though."

"Just keep that thing away from me." Raven said

Brian shook his head madly "I got my bat... this is for you" He smiled and took it off, handing it to Alex "You're the only one without a weapon."

Alex took it and looked down at the gun, "Um...it won't blow up on me or anything will it?"

"It uses pressurized oxygen to shoot the scalpels, if you shoot it at a flame it may ignite but apart from that... nah" Brian said, glaring at the oxygen tanks.

"Thanks." Alex said. She leaned over and kissed his cheek. If one were to know her personally, they would know that she does this a lot to people. Her dog walked over and sniffed at Brian.

Brian was shocked to say the least "Well... that was nice..." he said, almost melting.

Alex simply laughed at his reaction. She giggled even more when she saw that her dog was sniffing Brian in his region. "Stop that....come here girl." The dog came to her side.

Brian got up from his temporary slump "I... uhhh..." he mumbled. If one thing could mess his mind up more than a concussion it was a girl.

Alex smiled and look to the group as a whole, "So what's our move?" Her dog sat at her side.

"I say we load up, gas up and find a pawn shop." Raven said with her hands on her hips "I'd rather have good old fashioned bullets than rely on a couple oxygen tanks. Besides, unles we have a way to fill them they won't last as long as we'll need them for.

"Well it should keep me safe until we get real guns." Alex said, looking down at the gun that Brian had made for her.

Brian scowled "I had very little to work with thank you, and while it wont last long it's very good for mowing down a lot of targets at the same time."

"How many shots does this have? And do I have to reload?" Alex asked Brian.

"Just keep squeezing until you run out, then pull out the tub" Brian pointed to an extension on the nozzle end "Then put a new one in."

Steven was actually appauled by the use of medical equipment as weaponry. He shooked it off though. They shouldn't be in need of the oxygen tanks or the scalpels. With any luck they wouldn't need the scalpels.

Catch leaned up on his elbows from where he had been lying. "We need to get some food too, while we still can. And maybe even find some place where we can crash with some sort of peace of mind...I mean, zombies can't possibly reach everywhere, can they?"

"I bet they can." Raven said "Look I'm not exactly from around here but I think the safest place right now would be at a dock or marina. Someplace we can steal a boat. I doubt these things can swim. Is there a river or lake around here any where?"

"There is...but it's all the way across town." Alex mentioned, skating over.

"Well, I'm pretty sure the ambulance can make it across town. It's done so before." Steven said, motioning to the vehicle. "Where there's a will, there's a way?"

"Noooo" Brian said, still in a slight stupor from his injury "Where there's a will there's an inheritance."

"Alrighty then." Alex remarked, "Let's go." She hopped onto the ambulance. "Come on girl!" Her dog quickly hopped on as well.

Brian hummed something suspiciously like "We're off to see the wizard" as he followed Alex into the back of the ambulance.

"Maybe you did hurt your head." Alex remarked to Brian as she found a seat to the side in the vehicle. She let her dog rest between her legs on the floor.

"I'll be fine, trial be mine" Brian mumbled, slurring his words as he fumbled around with a seat.

"Umm...ok." Alex said, examining Brian's physical state.

Brian seemed to be trying to decide between a seat and one that only he seemed to be able to see. Finnaly choosing the right one he sat down and rubbed his head "I'm gonna be alright in a sec."

"Well that's good..." Alex smiled as she pet her dog behind her ear.

Catch stood up and climbed into the ambulance, keeping close watch out of a window. "We should really get going. I don't think it'll take them much longer to get here."

Steven climbed into the driver's seat again and slowly closed his fingers around the wheel. He really wasn't looking forward to this. Today had started out like any other day...

"he's right." Raven said "We'd better load up. I saw a pawn and gun on our way here. I say we go there."

"What good will going to a pawn shop do us?" Steven asked curiously

Raven put her hand on her forehead "Where where you five minuets ago?" She sighed "We need weapons. Pawn shops carry all sorts of shit and have very little external security. we do a quick smash n grab ad get the fuck outta there.'

Alex leaned in, "It's only logical."
